Case Western Nritya is Case Western Reserve University’s premier competitive classical Indian dance team. We compete nationally in the collegiate classical Indian dance circuit. We also perform at local and off-campus events, ranging from weddings to parties. Our team showcases a variety of classical Indian dance styles, such as Bharatanatyam, Kuchipudi, and Kathak. Through our pieces, we strive to portray meaningful stories, whether that be Hindu mythology, historical events, or contemporary events that are relevant to our generation. As we hope to captivate our audience by the beauty and intricacy of classical dance, we also aim to spread cultural awareness and preserve traditional Indian art.
